What for?Subaru utilizes stretch fit belts which are shorter than the actual working length, but once they are installed they automatically tension, maintaining the proper tension over the life of the belt and ensuring optimum load-carrying capacity. The Gates installation tool is required to properly guide the belt onto the pulley and avoid damaging the belt. |
